Excitement is building for our forthcoming exhibition at Whitchurch Silk Mill in September 2024. Entitled Passionate Women, it is a wide-ranging exploration of female strength and empowerment through the medium of stitched artworks.
Also on display will be a range of projects undertaken by members of the Alchemist’s Needle since our last exhibition. These include a collection of work inspired by the Tutankhamun exhibition at the British Museum, a tribute to the writings of Jane Austen, and a colourful celebration of textile techniques.
The exhibition runs from 7th September until 24th November so there will be plenty of time to visit while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the historic silk mill.
