What Would Dolly Do? by Anne Hellyer
Is there anybody that doesn’t love Dolly Parton? On deciding that I wanted to make a piece of art about her, I sent my husband on a charity shop hunt for one of her albums. I was really pleased when he found Both Sides of Dolly Parton as that is exactly what I wanted to portray.
She is very well known for both her music and philanthropy. The Dollywood Foundation is the most well known but she has supported numerous charities over the years, just some of them are mentioned on my ‘album’. It is estimated that she is a millionaire but she could be a billionaire but for the extent of her generosity.
